Halo 3 ODST is 7 days away from launch and there is no real hype behind it other then the price being a little to high for something that is considered a expansion. I recently went to GameStop to buy a used game and like always the cashier asked if you would like to pre order any up coming games. I asked for the prestige edition for Modern Warfare 2 but I was told they weren’t doing the orders anymore, so he asked me if I would like to pre order ODST and my response was, I wouldn’t purchase something that’s isn’t worth its price tag. At that moment his face was dumb founded, as if I had said something he thought to be impossible.
I like Steve Jobs as a business man. The man can sell an arm infested with cancer for $1000 dollars and he would get you to purchase it. There’s no doubt the man is a great seller but he has finally went pass the line of talking to much shit. First let me say that I’m glad he got his liver transplant and that he’s doing well and that he’s back at apple running shit. Personally without him apple wouldn’t last long, man knows how to run a business to make a good impression. I have a few “Mac” geeks who told me that this year’s conference that was done during the summer had some problems. I don’t know the details but I heard it wasn’t as great if Steve was there but with that said the man has returned with a mouth full.
On the day of the official launch of the Playstation 3 Slim, Sony released the new firmware 3.0. Like many people, I thought this update was going to be a huge improvement with many new features being added. Sadly to say this wasn’t the case. The director of PlayStation Network Operations Eric Lempel said the update was “imminent,” which made it sound like something fantastic was coming. He went on to said that the next firmware will bring new avatars, dynamic themes, a redesigned status indicator and more to the Sony’s console and we got exactly what he said accepted for the “More” part.
