Michael Jackson 1958 to 2009

FF and MJ RIP

I want to say this first. I feel that Michael Jackson’s death has over shadowed Farrah Fawcett death. So I just want to give my condolences to her Husband Ryan O’Neal, even thought they weren’t legally married, that’s what he was to her and of course to her son who’s in prison. I hope he keeps his promise to his mother and gets himself straighten out because now her legacy must live on through him. I feel their pain, as I have also lost a loved one to cancer. All I can really say to the family is, to stay strong and that she was loved and will always be every ones favorite angel.

Michael Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:30 PST.  The cause was cardiac arrest and as of now the LAPD are investigating the death. I really don’t want to speak about his death but more about the legacy he left behind. As we all know Michael Jackson was a phenomenon as a child to the eventually self proclaimed king of pop. His music spanned all around the world and brought love to everyone it touched. He was an entertainer like no other. If you think about it, you probably never even thought he could actually die. I mean everyone has to die but when you think about Michael it’s hard to believe he could possibly pass away.

His top album is Thriller the world’s best-selling record of all time and among the records: Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and History (1995). Bad being my personal favorite with Smooth Criminal being my favorite song .He also did mini films or if you want to call it musicals starting with The Wiz and continued  with Thriller, Captain EO, Moonwalker, Stark Raving Dad, Ghosts, Miss Cast Away. Moonwalker and Thriller being my top.

I know there’s a lot anti Jackson fans which is perfectly fine. Everyone has their opinion. I just ask to show the man respect. He did nothing really wrong and most people just don’t know the facts behind a lot of the controversy behind his life. I personally believe unless the man has committed murder, genocide, rape or all of the above he should be respected after death no matter if you agreed with the speculations that happened during his life. Speculations are nothing but assumptions. I’ve had a few debates because of some rude and wrongful remarks about him on a few away messages. I want to clear out some things because I know a lot of people will debate about the allegations.

Most common Questions and my own answers:  This came from the debate I had last night while writing this.

Q: Explain his sleep over with kids.

Q: The interviews with Ed Bradley and Martin Bashir.

Q: Explain the secret room in his bed room.

Q: Explain why he settled out of court instead of fighting it.

Q: Explain why he let kids sleep in his bed and sometimes slept with them.

Neverland Ranch was an amusement park and a home when the facility opened in 1988 to the public to enjoy. The family that brought their children to the ranch gave permission for their children to stay the night including The Arvizo Family.  Michael and Gavin Arvizo, who was then a cancer patient, states that it was Jackson’s support that helped him beat his diagnosis. Jackson admits that he let the boy have the bed while he slept on the floor; the boy also gave the same story when interviewed. Jackson admitted that “many children” (including the Culkin family children Macaulay, Kieran, and their other brothers and sisters) have slept in the same bed as him, but he denied having had sexual contact with any of them.

The secret room proved nothing since the police department found nothing in the room to convict him or even prove he was a child molester. What he had in the room was of his own private collection of things he enjoyed himself. Psychologist Dr. Katz stated that in her opinion Jackson was not a pedophile but a regressed 10 year old. So it doesn’t surprise me he had toys and so forth. The man was neglected in child hood. I am 22 and still have many action figures and a toy chest. So based on how people speculate what a man shouldn’t have I guess I’m no different than him.

He had settled out of court because his legal advisers had told him it would take 5 to 7 years possibly to end the case. He was better off settling the case and ending it quickly before his career was ruined since it was already dwindling slowly from the bad publicity.  Also a lot of people believed he also settled out of court the second time he was accused. This is not the case. The jury found Michael not guilty on any accounts. Also do some research on the The Arvizo Family. They are not the perfect family after all, here’s a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People_v._Jackson

So I ask you “Hater’s” this. Why would a parent let their child stay overnight at another man’s house or stay in his bedroom. Every parent was aware of the situation. The world needs to stop letting the media control their opinions on someone without knowing the actual facts or just using common sense when there’s public information available for you to make your own conclusion.

Lisa Marie Presley has recently posted a comment on her MySpace about Michael I think everyone should read. Here’s a little quote from it:

“As I sit here overwhelmed with sadness, reflection and confusion at what was my biggest failure to date, watching on the news almost play by play The exact Scenario I saw happen on August 16th, 1977 happening again right now with Michael (A sight I never wanted to see again) just as he predicted, I am truly, truly gutted.

Any ill experience or words I have felt towards him in the past has just died inside of me along with him.

He was an amazing person and I am lucky to have gotten as close to him as I did and to have had the many experiences and years that we had together.

I desperately hope that he can be relieved from his pain, pressure and turmoil now.

He deserves to be free from all of that and I hope he is in a better place or will be.

I also hope that anyone else who feels they have failed to help him can be set free because he hopefully finally is.

The World is in shock but somehow he knew exactly how his fate would be played out some day more than anyone else knew, and he was right.”

You can read and I advise all to read the full post here: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=42291868&blogId=497035326

So there’s not much to say anymore. I’ve defended Michael as much as I believe I can. I hope the press respects the family’s wishes and lets them morn over there lost. For the rest of the world, all I have to say is remember the man for the great entertainer he was and not the speculations that were never proven and over exaggerated. His influence on hip hop, pop and R&B is unparallel. Usher, Justin Timberlake and R Kelly have all been strongly influenced by him. His level of worldwide influence over the generations through his music and humanitarian contributions goes beyond anyone before and after him. He will never be forgotten and may he rest in peace and be free from the torment that society has put on him.

Yeah I had read about Michael Jackson Guinness world record for the most charities. He was a very giving person and it was sad that people pay more mind to his faults then his positives. I’m glad you liked the picture as well, I worked on it just for this article.
