New Moon (marketed as The Twilight Saga: New Moon) is a 2009 American romantic fantasy film. It is based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer and is the sequel to 2008’s Twilight. Directed by Chris Weitz, the film stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, reprising their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, respectively. The film begins with Bella on her 18th birthday; Edward with his not so impressive introduction into the scene brings Bella to his family house for a birthday party they had planned for her. All goes wrong when Bella gets a paper cut and Edwards’s brother Jasper goes crazy and tries to kill her. In the end Edward comes to realize that he and his family are to dangerous for Bella to be around and pretty much dumps her.
This was originally intended to be a topic on a premiere show I was producing and hosting that was so post to air on YouTube on the same day as “New Moon” release. In the end, it was never recorded because of disagreements on when to record, so instead I will be writing about it. Me and Wilson Meredith on the daily basis have debates; our entire friendship is almost completely based off of arguing with each other. Once in awhile we debate about the book series Twilight. 90% of the time I lose thought and completely ramble on the topic and make an ass of myself. I find it difficult to argue on an instant messenger client.
Warning: This article has a few spoilers about the film 2012, do not read beyond this statement if you do not want any of the plot to be ruined. This article is basically my disagreement with a friend who recently blogged about the film, just two friends with different opinions about a movie that we may have over analyzed in the first place. If you decided to continue to read, please read his article first at his website Here to fully understand the argument, none the less there is some valid points in just how I believe the world works.
