I’m a huge fan of Peter Jackson and as a future filmmaker, he’s one of the few I look up to. His style, which is obvious on how he loves to show detail in his films. The many different angles of the shots for one instance of the moment to give a better depth on the situations at hand but if you don’t know who Peter Jackson is, most likely you live under a rock but I’ll help you out just in case. Peter Jackson is a New Zealand filmmaker, producer, and screenwriter. You most likely heard of one of his film, The Lord Of The Ring and the others that came after it. He also did the awesome remake of King Kong but at last he has returned to cinemas from a long 6 year absence and is bringing us something new.
The Lovely Bones is a film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Alice Sebold, the trailer was released recently and I found that the little they showed was fascinating. It makes you want to pick up the original book. Once you see the trailer you will notice this is slightly different from most Jackson films that are heavily based on CGI. I personally think it’s a good move on Jackson part, to move away from all the special effects and show that he can do more than just wow us with spectacles. The Lovely Bones comes out December 11th of this year (2009). Check out the trailer down below.
Update: Well Paramount doesn’t want anyone having the trailer other then there official site and at apple.com trailers section because apparently we are stealing money from them by advertising there movie free of charge to make more people want to go and see it (Confused face), yeaaah……. So until they stop removing the video off of YouTube, you can check out the trailer here in HD enjoy.
Update 2: Well it seems YouTube stop taking the trailer off since apple has put it up officially themselves. So here it is on my page again in full HD or you can still click on the link above this update. Hopefully they won’t take it down again. (Fingers Crossed)

I found this very helpful. I have been learning the ropes on my own and taking advice wherever I can get it.
