Women And Words

About a month ago a post went up on a blog called “Fuckery at its Finest” written by a friend of a friend. Miss Jones is what you would call a person who believes in subjective idealism, which to me means she just a pain in the ass. Na I’m joking, kind of…Anyways, she wrote an article about how women are using the word “Wifey” to identifies each other as best friends. She believes there must be something behind those words. It’s hard for her to believe that women could be using such a word which she considers it to be a form of acknowledgment of ownership. I argue that you can’t own someone or even consider the word “Wifey” to be a term of ownership. It’s like me going into Wal-Mart and I ask the clerk for a Wifey and he replies back, white, Hispanic, or are you into milk chocolate? You can’t own your woman nor can you own a man.

Afterword she goes on to bring up a better argument. What if guys called each other hubby? I would think the answer is obvious, because it would be considered gay. Now there’s nothing wrong with being gay but the way society and strait men characterize certain words they would never allow them self’s to call each other hubby. This is also why men have invented an unbelievable amount of other names to call each other. Dude, Guy, Peep, Bro, and of course my Nigga (controversial I know). Women do it as well, it isn’t just men who make up words or twist them. I knew a girl that I was talking to who use to call her female friends “BOB”. When I asked her what BOB meant, she told me it meant “Bend Over Buddy”.

There’s even been instantences that some women call each other “there bitches”.  There’s no doubt some people would find that disrespectful but like I said, people will twist and make up any word to fit the situation. I myself, call my friends basturds which they know means I love them like a brother. Also with another friend we started a trend with the word “Yurrrr Debi Debi”. We used it to call friends from distances and so forth.  I just don’t agree that there more behind the word “wifey” when women uses it and I’m not saying that the once that do aren’t gay. I have no doubt that some are but you can’t just assume that if you see a girl call her friend “Wifey” that it’s something more than just a friendship. You got to remember it’s just a word. The way it’s used in context depends on the person.

Oprah Winfrey Show

Oprah Winfrey Show

Towards the end of the article she brings up Oprah who had a show about women leaving men for women. Base on Oprah, the underlying reason women were leaving men was because of men not being able to communicate emotionally. I agree with this but there’s more to it. If you ask woman what she wants in a man, 90% of the time there will be thing’s that we can’t do, either mentally or physically but I’m going to stick with the physicality problems because it’s not always about why men don’t cry. Some men just can’t perform like you expect in bed and it can ruin a relationship. I believe there’s an article that says that the major leading causes to failed marriages happen in the bed room and since she referenced Oprah, I will to. She recently had a show about the same topic at hand. She had a sex doctor explain how women should know their own body and how to pleasure them self’s because it can help them direct their spouse in bed and keep the sex drive alive.

So this leads me to my own conclusion but Miss Jones had a question, “Are guys being used for their meats, and girls use one another for everything else?” My answer to this question and my own conclusion is no, men aren’t being just used for their meat. Anything a woman wants, another woman can provide and most likely 10 times better then we men can. I doubt a woman won’t know her way around a vagina and with today’s gadgets and accessories, women can replace anything we men have to offer. Women don’t even need us to make children anymore. So why just use us for our meat, when there are better options. The answer is simple, sexual orientation or in other words pro choice.

So the real question is, should people be considered straight or gay or even assumed to be one or the other based on the lingo they use? Leave a comment and check out  Miss Jones Blog Here.
